A great opportunity to live and breathe all things Chen Tai Chi and to elevate your Tai Chi to the next level!
This years Tai Chi Space Summer Camp, will have an option to extend your training for 7 days for an exhilarating Tai Chi experience. The main portion of the Summer Camp will be from Friday 28th - Sunday 30th June covering the Chen Tai Chi Sword. Preceding this from Monday 24th - Thursday 27th June I will be running an intensive 4 day's of training covering the Xin Jia Yi Lu - the 83 form and Tai Chi Fundamentals.
This year's summer camp will focus on the Chen Tai Chi sword and some traditional Chinese sword fencing techniques thrown in for fun to help with learning the form. The Tai Chi sword routine is circular, flowing and graceful in its movements combining hardness and softness along with subtly quick and slow movements. Training with the sword helps develop flexibility, fluidity and precision. Performing the sword is likened to an ‘undulating dragon’ or a ‘phoenix soaring and circling the air’.
